CBT is an evidence based talking therapy, which promotes action and change. It looks at empowering you to feel more in control and able to manage your emotions and actions.
Why incorporate aromatherapy? Our sense of smell has a unique and instant connection to our limbic system. This is the part of our brain which accesses memories and emotions. As a result, by incorporating essential oils into treatment, we can help supercharge our connection with our emotions and how easily we can manage and access them.
Massage using essential oils can also enhance treatment, by encouraging a stronger sense of relaxation, relieving tension, and flushing out toxins, all whilst making positive associations between the essential oils and calmness and wellbeing.
Relaxation and mindfulness training is an important part of regulating our emotions. We can explore different exercises and tools which can be used easily in day to day life to help implement the changes you want to see within your life.
